Penny feels guilty about her behavior with Violet and Lynn, and it weighs heavily on her mind. She tries to shake it off, but isn't having much success on her own. Mina convinces Penny to talk things over with her, and later that night, Penny has a very eye-opening dream...

Release 6 of Petalpelago brings the total word count to around 44,000 words, officially doubling the length of the story compared to Release 3a in the free demo and web player versions.

In the post for Release 5, I previously commented at length, debating on which approach to use for the character art, and I've settled on the one that features the glowing borders around characters.

The current plan is to even incorporate it into the elements of the story in a way that at least seems reasonable for a fantasy setting. I much prefer to incorporate aspects that would seem like downsides or weaknesses, and make good use of them somehow, rather than having them continue to stick out in negative ways.

On a personal level, I rather preferred the glowing look after further consideration too, and the images themselves are easier to work with using that approach as well, so that's what I'll be using as needed going forward.
